Hah… that got your attention!
We continued on the driving tour and came to Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm . I thought this stop was mainly for me but it turned out that Anna Grace may have had the most fun of all. She was quite grumpy when we got there but her new friends got her all cheered up.
We went and explored one part of the farm and watched the alpaca (and the deer in the field next to the farm…see background).
Then I went into their shop and looked around. And I bought yarn. Just a smidge.
Well, as we were checking out the owner told us that there was another walkway for seeing the alpacas. We almost didn’t go but then decided to head on over. I’m so glad we did. The alpaca see us coming and start walking toward us. But then they notice Anna Grace and they seemed fascinated with her. They followed her all around. At one point she had her own captive audience of about 7 alpaca. She was so excited that she wanted to get under the fence and go play with them. She wasn’t pleased when we wouldn’t agree.
We were enjoying ourselves so much that we didn’t want to leave. But it was getting more and more difficult to keep AG from trying to get in the fence so we headed on.
The white Alpaca with the cute little grin makes me giggle.
