Sunday is for Scenery

Yesterday we went to church, Calvary Chapel South in Kent, and I was pretty comfortable there.  I was especially happy with how the children’s ministry was handled.  I’ve had some difficulty with AG and Sunday School in recent months but this program addressed all my concerns before I ever said a word.  Its a real good fit for her…. as evidenced by the fact that we left the room without a peep from her.

Overall I really liked the service and felt like I could be at home there.  Dana has been attending there for about 6 months and he has been comfortable with their style, teaching, etc.

Yesterday was also a great day, weather wise, around here.  The sun was out all day and the clouds lifted over the mountains more and more as the day progressed.  By mid afternoon the entire Cascade range was clear from top to bottom.  We stuck AG in the truck and decided to go for a Sunday drive.  We headed up towards some farmlands here in Enumclaw and then drove up the road that leads to Mt. Rainier and Crystal Mountain (410?).  The road is blocked right at the entrance to Crystal Mountain Ski Resort.  I suppose it will re-open in the spring.  Can’t wait!

Here’s some photos:
