I have officially finished all the knitting portions of Rogue. The last sleeve came off the needles about fifteen minutes ago. Woo Hoo. I am feeling a great sense of accomplishment but also a bit lost. What now? What project?
Here’s Rogue at her current stage of completion:
Other projects that are yet to be completed are:
The gift…. will be completed upon arrival of more yarn.
The crooked cable socks…. currently languishing in a small knitting bag that has been carefully ignored as it rested on the kitchen table for over a month.
Projects I currently have yarn for:
A pair of footie socks for me (like the ones I knit for Dana over the summer)
Enough sock yarn to provide warm tootsies for a small army.
Yes… that concludes the inventory of my "stash". I don’t have much of one. ( I do have a lot of red heart and lion brand stuff that I use for practicing stitches but they aren’t exactly what I want to make a nice sweater out of.)
Tomorrow I’ll put Rogue in a wool bath and set ‘er out on the blocking board. First, must find a place for blocking that is safe from the toddler. This will be the extra bedroom on top of the extra bed. But… there’s a small problem with that plan. The extra bedroom has been utilized as The Package Wrapping Department for Casa de Wannabe for about a month and the extra bed may not be easy to locate. We shall see.
Yea for finishing Rouge! It’s beautiful and I’m jealous. Is still haven’t started mine, but it’s edging it’s way up on the line up!!!! I can’t wait to see it on you!
I bet AG is getting mighty excited to see Santa.
PS…Glad you are heeding advice re: Stalker #2. Are you walking everywhere with cell phone in hand?
