Earlier today Stalker #2 was released from the Po Po. I just had a visit from a very friendly town officer that wanted to make sure I was informed. Stalker #2 entered some type of pre-trial intervention program, it’s kinda like glorified probation. He follows the rules, promises to be a good boy, does some community service, pays some fines and if all works out he won’t have to go to trial and his criminal record says "ajudication withheld" instead of guilty of being a freakazoid.
One of the rules is that he cannot come within a certain distance of the woman who had filed the complaint against him. Because of that rule and because our town is so terribly small (about 1 or 2 sq. miles in actual size) it will be nearly impossible for him to live here, go to the post office, pay his water bill etc and still obey that rule. Therefore, he will not be returning to his house. And, local officers are on the look out for him should he decide to return.
That said, I’ll be cautiously taking out my trash and looking over my shoulder if you don’t mind. If I see him at all, I’ll call. If I even think I see him, I’ll call. If I imagine I see him, I’ll call. If I have a dream that I see him, I’ll call. Promise!
I wonder how his wife feels about him being released from the Po Po. And having to move is a big price to buy since he will probably have to change jobs as well.
And how is the no spitting and no screaming situtation?
