I am now the proud owner of a bottle of anti-nausea medication. This makes me so happy that I could just kiss my OB! End result…. I actually was able to sit and knit last night. Finished chart c on the Order to Chaos shawl. Woo Hoo!

HI Kris,
I’m just starting out at the top of the blog, cause I just got the shop monthly update. Many congrats on your pregnancy! That’s fantastic!
Just delete this if it is repetitious of others, but have you tried ginger for nausea? There are some good teas, and some crystalized ginger. I tried it when I was pregnant with my third, I think.
Laura
Thank goodness!
I hope it helps. I thought nausea was by far the worst part of pregnancy. Though I found the birth to be kind of scary (I had a precipitous birth and since it was my first child, and I was 40, that wast he last thing I was expecting!) but I’d do that again in a heartbeat, pain and all. The nausea–that’s another story.
I took great comfort in a generous thing a friend said. She’d had many miscarriages herself, and never had a successful pregnancy. She said that she never felt sick a minute and to remind myself that this can be the sign of a healthy, strong pregnancy. (Of course there are perfectly healthy pregnancies that never have nausea, but it did help me and it was kind of her to say.)
