The blog has been silent for no other reason than there hasn’t been much going on. Or, more accurately, there has been a lot going on but not much to post about. Just the usual daily tasks.
So… here’s a post of miscellaneous random things.
1. Anna Grace still hates getting her picture taken.
AG wearing her new outfit from Grandpa C and Miss Gail
2. Dana and I actually went on a date (call the media!) for the first time in over a year. We took a walk by Lake Eustis at sunset.
Sunset: Ferran Fountain at Lake Eustis
3. All the kids, grown ups, Hammy and Hampy, etc. went to the beach to celebrate Noah’s birthday. There was much food, fun, water, sun and kite flying.

Dana & Anna Grace trying to get kite #2 airborn.
I actually got the ladybug kite going pretty high. It was a great day for kite flying.
4. I learned that if you get a bit of water (from the outdoor shower that rinses off your feet) onto your camera…bad things happen.
5. Dana’s job…..what job?
Dana is still building the robotic component thing he designed and getting that ready for market and he had an interview yesterday. Other than that….what job? He keeps on a schedule where he spends part of his day looking for jobs and part of his day building his own business.
6. I cast on the Order to Chaos Shawl by Wendy Johnson. I may be entering this into the state fair. I have a couple of candidates that I’m considering for an entry but this is one of them.
Order to Chaos: Completion of Chart A
Since this was taken I’ve completed Chart B as well. I’m knitting it with Dream in Color Smooshy: Gold Experience. Love the pattern, really well written. The instructions for the border have me confused but I think it is just one of those “just do what she says and don’t think about it” kinda things. As long as I don’t over think it, I bet it’ll work out just fine.
7. We have boxes full of pretty colors around here. We’ll be doing a shop update in the next few days and get everything listed, newsletters sent out, etc.
8. I’m still playing with knives….. rubber stamp carving knives/blades to be exact. Anna Grace and I have planted 2 more letterboxes. My carving skills are finally starting to improve just a tad.
Lentil Stamp
We planted a letterbox after reading the book Lentil by Robert McCloskey. Anna Grace really liked this book, especially the parts with Old Sneep.
So….that’s about all that is going on around here. See….told ya there wasn’t much “postable”. Hope y’all have a great weekend.
Toodles!
Beautiful stamp – well done!
