House

The buyer decided (finally!) to lower the price of her house and she cut it by 20 grand.  I would’ve preferred if she had dropped it by thirty grand but this is a start.  The buyer also states if her house doesn’t sell this week she’ll lower the price again.

I think the "lack of action" on her house may have gotten her attention.

So…. although I am really doubtful that this will work out, I at least have a small glimmer of hope.  Small.  Very, very small.

Irregardless, I’m trying to do all I can to just "walk in faith" and keep doing all I can to move toward leaving, making sure AG and I are living our lives not just sitting around playing the waiting game, etc.  It was in this mode that I have finally sat down today, made all the copies, etc on the application for my RN and nurse practitioner licenses for the state of Washington.  I figure I might as well give it my first shot and then start the paper trail of them stating "we need this" and then I go and hunt for it…. over and over and over again.  It may not be that bad.  This is the first time I’ve ever applied for a license by endorsement (endorsement = "hey buddy… I’m licensed over there in that state, will you let me practice in your state without having to take all my exams again or sending me back to school?  You will?  Peachy!).  Here’s hopin’ I included all they want, need, etc.

  2. Patience Grasshopper…

Pricing a home is a tricky game. And finding a ready/qualified/motivated buyer is also tricky.

You have to list high or take a chance on losing out on quite a little chunk of cash for being wrong (low).

Dropping her price 20k shows motivation… and she’s stated that she’s ready to come down more… what I’d worry about is some potential buyer will note the falling price and stand by waiting for the next reduction vs moving in for the kill.

It will happen… all will be good.

    Keep breathing.

Best of wishes toward your application.

ps I really enjoy reading what’s going on in your life. Hope to meet you when you get here.
