Dana… this is another post you should not read….thanks!
Ok… now that it’s safe…….
I have been knitting today on the gift project and on the Rogue sleeve. I am having to be quite secretive about knitting on the gift, though.
(wow… look who’s gonna need a face lift????)
This is me, knitting on the couch, taking it easy, clearing off the Tivo. See that little bulge under the red blanket that makes it look like I might be 5 mos. pregnant (ok, maybe a little low for "pregnant" but you get the idea) … that’s the gift knitting hiding below the blanket. So the day has gone like this:
Dana leaves the room, I drop the Rogue sleeve and grab the gift project.
I hear Dana heading back towards the room, I drop the gift asap and grab Rogue.
This has made my knitting today a bit schizophrenic but so far I have succeeded in not performing the Rogue instructions on the gift knitting and vice versa. So far… if I keep this up, however, it is bound to happen.
At the end of the day the Rogue sleeve is about half done and the gift’s piece #2 is a little more than half done. I think I will have some alone time tomorrow to work on the gift some more. As of this moment I think there is no way I will make it to church in the morning. Even if I’m feeling a bit better the hacking cough will just distract everyone. So… Dana and AG will go to church and I will rest on the couch. And knit. If I can keep from getting distracted I should make some good progress during those few hours.
That is quite the holiday knitting. Very sneaky. Interesting about AG and dining room. Kids.
That is indeed sneaky! Can’t you send him to the electronics store or something for a couple of hours so you can knit in peace?
