Dana and Anna Grace went over to visit Zelda, our neighbor, on Thanksgiving morning.  Zelda is a senior citizen and a total hoot.  She knows everyone in town, married a man who has many of the streets, etc named for his family and she’s just good company.  I always try to get a little something for Zelda at Easter, Christmas, etc but especially on Valentine’s Day.  When you meet Zelda she’ll tell you within the first few minutes about her husband.  He passed away almost 9 years ago but she misses him so much.  So… I figured at Valentine’s Day of all days Zelda needed to get some flowers.  Every year I tip toe over and leave her some roses or candy and a little card. 

Anyway… from there I started trying to remember to do something for her on other days as well. Well, all the fall arrangements this year looked down right awful.. so I got her a box of coffees, cocoas, and chocolate.  AG and Dana went over to wish her a happy day and deliver her gift.  AG got a lift back home.

Yes… AG is wearing her pajamas in those picture.  I didn’t get her dressed before we went to the airport that morning.  His flight was early and I just got us up, brushed our teeth and jumped into the car.  Truth be known I wasn’t exactly dressed nicely either.

Oh well… I guess I lose my mommy button again.
