She-who-is-six is now she-who-is-sick. She was complaining on Wednesday of not feeling good but when I asked her what was wrong she just said that her feet hurt and that it hurt to walk. I questioned her more and figured out that she was having body aches but when I searched for the source of the problem…nothing. Yesterday she had a big day, cool outing, and she came home and asked if she could take a nap. Uh Oh! When she got up…. mystery solved.
I now sit home entertaining a child who has a sore throat, the worst breath imaginable, an occasional fever, a sand paper rash and moans continuously because of the body aches. Hello, scarlet fever!
Antibiotics and motrin are our friend. Hoping she-who-is-sick goes back to just being she-who-is-six very soon.
Scarlet fever??? That still exists? I had no idea. Praying she feels better very soon.
OMG scarlett fever?!!? How did she get this??
