Shock and Awe

I usually keep things to myself for quite some time but I think I need to “out” myself.  Folks are starting to wonder what is going on, I raced out the side door of church today and alarmed people and next week I’ll be at a pastor’s conference with many of you and you will see what my days have become:

Lying down

Dizziness

Resting frequently

Nausea

Feeling like I’m going to pass out

Hurling

Food aversions

Turning white

Some of my odd behavior has been figured out.  Heck, my own daughter figured it out.  But I realized today that folks are worried about me and I don’t want that.  Because of our history, I simply wanted to be cautious but I guess I need to trust that things will be okay and if they aren’t, the Lord will take care of that too.

Baby Haukoos #3 (a.k.a. “Bean”) will be here at the end of August.  No one is more shocked than us but we’re thrilled.  Still shocked but thrilled.

  1. Wow, big news, and I don’t even know you! Congratulations. I had just decided to message you and find out if you were okay, since it’s been weeks since you blogged anything. Your youngest two will be almost like twins in a few years, and AG will learn all sorts of childcare skills in her youth.

  2. Congratulations!

(In other interesting news, this is the second blogger pregnancy I’ve heard of today – the other being a bike/style blogger, outside the knitosphere)
