Anna Grace and I were reading about Africa when I got an email from Lisa.  She informed me that if AG went to Busch Gardens before she turned 6, she could get a special preschooler pass that was  good for the whole year… even after she turned 6.  So… a few days before AG’s birthday, I woke her up one morning and told her we were heading to Africa.

We rode the train and the skyride over the Serengetti, we saw cool animals and just had a great day.

There were giraffes….

….and Lions too.

Anna Grace got to feed a camel….

….and wave to an elephant too.

And when it was all said and done, Anna Grace told everyone who would listen that she went to Africa for the day and she suddenly remembered all we had talked about in the previous weeks.

And she was a pretty happy kid!
